Holy Trinity, Low Moor:: On Active Service 1943
 

We found this list in the Holy Trinity Parish Magazine. The edition was undated but the Vicar's letter was dated 25 October 1943.

The heading said "ON ACTIVE SERVICE - Pray for the Welfare of:-"

Then followed two lists headed "Women and Girls" and "Men"

The lists were grouped under surnames listed under letters of the alphabet but not in alphabetical order within the letter. At the end came RIP followed by two names.

We have sorted them all into alphabetical order and indicated which list they were originally in.

If you think a name if missing it could be because this list came from the Holy Trinity Magazine, and it is likely that these people lived in that Parish. Other people living in Low Moor could have been in the Parish of St Mark''s.
